When I began to write this blog I realized the Holy Scriptures do not need any help; they are intensely straight forward; sharper than a two edged sword and fully capable of accomplishing exactly what our Heavenly Father intends. However, I can’t resist adding a few words from experience.
First Corinthians 13 is a powerful chapter clearly stating our Lord’s standard for what we call love. As in everything He does, they are high…but not unattainable. By the power of His indwelling Spirit, we can grow in Him, coming closer every day to His standards. Thank you, Lord.
This new year I’m continuing my “New Year’s Resolution for the Month” series. I submit for January only the last part of this powerful verse:
“Love keeps no record of wrongs”.
WOW! I told you the Holy Scriptures are direct, didn’t I?
I think it is appropriate to title this blog, Just Forget It. Since the Lord God has forgotten our sins, then certainly He will help us forget them and forgive ourselves and others. Now I can make room in my mind and heart for joyful things; the world is full of them. Take your pick.
