The news channels? Your fears? Your circumstances? The Internet? Social media?
In Revelation 1: 17, John, the Apostle says,
“When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as though dead. Then He placed His right hand on me and said: ‘Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
In Isaiah 8:13 I read and am encouraged:
“The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, He is the one you are to fear, He is the one you are to dread.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Almighty God, none can compare. As a believer of Christ, you are greatly loved by Him, and totally accepted in Him. We have nothing to fear.
A verse that has carried me through very, very hard times is:
Ephesians 1:11 “In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will.”
Glory! I’m so happy He is working out ALL things according to HIS will….not mine, not yours, not the worlds, not the leaders, not even the Enemy……but according to HIS WILL.
“Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4

Yes, thank you, Lord. It is an amazing thing that the Lord loves us, considering who He is. Amazing grace.
Very encouraging words, Adele! With all the horrible news on TV and social media, it is very easy to get discouraged or fearful but we must fix our eyes on JESUS! Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Thanks you, Sheila. Yes we must look to Jesus. There is such beauty, love, perfection, and hope in Him.
