For More Information About the Painting
My inspiration for this abstract is the colors and textures of the Greek Isles. I love old, craggy walls with decades (or hundreds of years) of just existing. Adding to the textured beauty of the walls and other structures is the beautiful, blue Mediterranean Sea.
My thanks to our eldest Granddaughter and her husband and their frequent visits to Greece. She sends lovely photos for me to paint.
I like it! It speaks to me of the tenacity of faith in hard places. Well done, Adele!
Alison, That is a perfect response; I didn’t think of that myself, but it certainly applies well. Thanks.
Ah, love those vivid blues! G.
I love placing different blues next to each other. Thank you, G.
reminds me of the flowers that grow in rocks and crevices of walls with minimum of soil.
Kathy, That is exactly what I was thinking.
Beautiful, I love it
Karen
Thank you, Karen. It makes me want to go to the Greek Isles.
Fortunately for me, she loves old craggy husbands too.
