“The Smile”

My blog yesterday was about smiles in portrait art. The fine art world has many rules, regulations and opinions about what is fine art and what is just illustration. Today I dared to be different and painted a portrait with a great big, beautiful smile. If my Day 10 painting is just an illustration than that’s fine with me. I’m content to be labeled “just an illustrator”. I love to smile, so why not paint smiles.
